Carisa’s debut album, CARISA, is a poetic journey through sound and storytelling, blending traditional Portuguese melodies, Cape Verdean rhythms, and refined acoustic textures. Intimate yet expansive, her music reflects a profound connection to her roots and to the world around her.

Carisa Dias, a Luxembourgish singer of Cape Verdean origin, releases Her Debut Album
“CARISA” on March 7. While this is her first album under her own name, she is far from
being a newcomer. Music has always played a significant role in her life, and aGer numerous
collaboraHons with various arHsts and projects—both in Luxembourg and Brussels—she is
now ready to step into the spotlight with her own musical creaHons.
The album, featuring ten tracks that explore a diverse range of global music styles—
including morna, afrobeats, bossa nova, pop, and soul—will be unveiled live on the same
day at Casa do Comum in Lisbon.
Despite this being her first solo album, over the years, she has collaborated with various
arHsts on projects in Luxembourg and Brussels, solidifying her arHsHc idenHty and career.
In an in;mate live se<ng, Carisa will perform several tracks from her debut album, creaHng
a unique shared experience for the audience. She will also sing and share the stories behind
the crea;ve process, offering a deeper connecHon to her music and personal journey.
Sung in Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, English, and French, the album reflects the
arHst’s life experiences across Europe and Africa. Through her lyrics, she addresses
universal themes such as love, human rela;onships, hope, gra;tude, and female
empowerment—the laSer being parHcularly highlighted in the song “There For You.”
This deeply personal album is filled with memories, with a special highlight on “Amor
Amor,” a song wriSen in 1982 by her father, Amadeu Dias, whose influence was
instrumental in shaping Carisa’s musical path.
A Global Produc-on Team
To ensure the highest arHsHc quality, Carisa assembled a renowned team of industry
professionals:
• Mesaro Soares (ExecuHve Producer) – An experienced producer specialised in
Lusophone projects, working between London and Lisbon.
• MadSuperstar (Angolan Producer) – Brought his signature afrobeats influences to
the album.
• Elton Sousa – Associated with the pres;gious Lusafrica label.
• Hernâni Almeida (Cape Verdean Producer) – Contributed to the album’s sonic
diversity and musical richness.
Live Performances & Tour
Following the album launch, Carisa will embark on a series of concerts in Luxembourg and
Lisbon. She also plans to expand her career into Portuguese-speaking countries, with
partnerships in Portugal, Cape Verde, France, and the UK.

Previous Success & Notable Performances
Carisa’s promoHonal singles “Sintonia” and “There For You” received widespread public
acclaim. Notably, “There For You” was featured in a partnership with the Luxembourgish
government for the Orange Week, a campaign dedicated to raising awareness against
gender-based violence.
AddiHonally, Carisa made her solo debut on the Kinneksbond stage on November 20, with a
sold-out room, two months prior the show.
BIOGRAPHY
Coming from a family of arHsts, Carisa Dias began her musical journey at the age of 17,
collaboraHng with producer Valério Lopes and contribuHng to the albums Cabocomplo and
Connexions by Minos. She later joined a gospel choir and, between 2011 and 2013,
performed at various fesHvals and events in Brussels, including the Ethno Tendance Fashion
Show and Gospel A@er in Liège.
Beyond music, Carisa has also worked as an event moderator and founded the web TV
plaYorm “Fashion Aventura.”
